It has two compartments which can each fit one bath towel (two total), one bath sheet can be draped over the center divider. Or do as I do, put a towel on one side and warm up your robe or pjs on the other side. In as little as 10 minutes everything is warm (keep in for at least 15-20 minutes if you like it toasty).It also turns off automatically, if you start it and forget to turn it off.
